Seamlessly integrate locally-produced news, features and commentary with NPR’s Morning Edition. Produce features for local, regional, and national audiences on radio, Internet, and social media. A minimum of two years of broadcast news experience with a minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Excellent NPR-style on-air delivery with ability to write news copy, prepare feature reports and conduct interviews. Demonstrated skill in broadcast journalism with solid news judgment, strong knowledge of audio production techniques and NPR News programs. Knowledge of Adobe Audition, Enco Automation, Marketron, WordPress and multimedia journalism helpful. Team player with outstanding writing and communication skills, computer literacy with willingness to learn is essential. Articulate, motivated and positive personality with outstanding organizational and communication skills. Willing to represent the station in the community. Able to work a morning shift that begins at 4:30 a.m.
