Louisiana Public Broadcasting was proud to be featured twice during the national American Graduate Day 2015broadcast featuring a live studio interview with representatives of the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition and a profile of the LSU College of Engineering’s XCITE S.T.E.M. camp for high school girls. LPB publicized the national broadcast by hosting a local American Graduate Champions Recognition Event honoring local education advocates. In October, in partnership with the Ready Louisiana early child care advocacy consortium, LPB produced an American Graduate town hall meeting on the topic of early childhood education, “Funding the Future: Early Childhood Opportunities.”

Red River Radio and WYES in Louisiana have also participating in improving youth outcomes in the state of Louisana.
