Report: Graduation rates rising throughout the country
More students across the country are leaving high school with a diploma in hand, according to a recent U.S. Department of Education blog.
Eighteen states now have a graduation rate at or above 85 percent from the 2012-2013 school year data, according to the blog.
The blog shares other highlights such as Kentucky has the highest graduation rate for economically disadvantaged students at 85.4 percent, while West Virginia has the highest rate for English Language Learners at 83 percent.
